The Sasol Solar Challenge (SSC) is proud to announce that the City of Cape Town has joined the event as the sponsor of the official finish line and the event awards ceremony.

The City of Cape Town has been supporting the event since 2016.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome the City of Cape Town as the sponsor of the official finish line and our awards ceremony,” said Robert Walker, Owner and Director of the Sasol Solar Challenge. “The Sasol Solar Challenge has been finishing in Cape Town since 2008, and for each event, we have received a warm welcome and great support from the community of Cape Town and surroundings. We look forward to working with the team at the City of Cape Town.”
